On March 11, Xiehe Group held the 2026 Annual Work Safety Deployment and Warning Education Conference in the second-floor meeting room of the Science Hall. The Group Chairman attended and delivered an important speech. All employees from various departments and units of the Group attended the meeting, which was presided over by Chen Fei, Assistant to the Group Chairman and Director of the Safety Management Department.
Learn from Cases, Stay Deeply Vigilant
At the meeting, Chen Fei conveyed the work safety deployment requirements from the national government, Jiangsu Province, Xuzhou City, and Xuzhou High-tech Zone. Drawing on safety accident cases both within and outside the industry, he analyzed the current severe safety situation and sounded the safety alarm. The Safety Management Department conducted a comprehensive review of the Group's 2025 work safety efforts, reported on shortcomings and deficiencies, and explained the 2026 work plan benchmarked against Jiangsu Province's "Six Modernizations" initiative for work safety. It also provided a detailed account of the February 22 startup fire incident at Pailezi Company, including its sequence, causes, and prominent issues exposed such as inadequate management control and weak accountability, warning all employees to take it as a lesson.
Strict Accountability, Solidify Responsibility
Wang Changzheng, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Branch and Director of the General Office, read out the notice of criticism and disciplinary decisions against Jiangsu Pailezi and related negligent personnel, demonstrating the Group's firm stance on upholding the safety red line. Li Xiujuan, Zheng Qing, and Zhao Changjiang, heads of the three subsidiaries Jiangsu Pailezi, Jiangsu Nuopule, and Xuzhou Nuopule, delivered statements in turn, pledging immediate rectification and the reinforcement of safety defenses. Subsequently, Chen Fei, on behalf of the Group's Safety Leadership Team, signed the "Work Safety and Operation Target Responsibility Agreement" on-site with the heads of each subsidiary, solidifying the primary responsibility for safety at every level.
Top-Level Deployment, Vigorous Implementation
In his speech, the Chairman emphasized that work safety is the lifeline of a company's survival and development. He called for abandoning the erroneous mindset of prioritizing business over safety, closely monitoring key links such as duty shifts, hazard investigation, and emergency response, and addressing management shortcomings with strict standards and practical measures. Any acts of dereliction of duty or failure to fulfill responsibilities will be strictly held accountable without leniency.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chen Fei put forward three requirements for implementing the spirit of the conference: promptly communicate the message to all levels without exception, investigate and rectify hidden hazards, and strictly supervise and strengthen accountability.
This conference further unified safety awareness and tightened work discipline. Going forward, the Group will take this meeting as an opportunity to institutionalize safety management, build a multi-faceted safety defense line, and safeguard the Company's high-quality development.
